The proposed cost of the workshops are: Guild Member Workshop: $15/Member; $30 Non-member Local Teacher - $35/Member; $50/Non-member National Teacher - $45 Member; $60/Non-member A brief explanation of workshop costs. The Guild Member Workshops provide a way for our members to teach us, be paid a small fee for their efforts and keep the cost of the workshop very low for our members. This is a way to support our members who teach and a way for those teachers to give back to the guild. A Local Teacher is someone who has achieved a high level of recognition and is called to teach all over the country. The fact that the teacher is local allows us to avoid high travel and lodging costs. A National Teacher usually requires several nights of lodging and a higher cost for travel in addition to the fees charged for the workshop itself. |
