The York County Quilters love to quilt. We love getting together in groups, large, small, doesn’t matter the size, we just love sharing about quilting.
YCQ is celebrating it’s 15th anniversary this year. Since organizing in 1995, quilters from all corners of York County and surrounding areas (including the city of Charlotte) have been meeting once a month for programs, show and tell, special door prizes and just plain fun.
Some of the varied opportunities offered by the guild include: block exchange, biennial quilt show, a heart block quilt made for members who are hospitalized, making small quilts and tote bags for the Children’s Attention Home, participating in Rock Hill’s Christmasville with a boutique and silent auction, charm groups, an extensive library and workshops taught by local, state and national teachers.
